Mike started his journey as a first responder in 2006 when he joined the New Fairfield Vol. Fire Department as a junior member. Mike rose through the ranks and had the great privilege of serving as Assistant Fire Chief of Company A for 4 years.
In 2008 Mike started Precision MobileElectronics, a division of Precision BrakeWorks Inc. after many years of working and running the shop along side his father, Joe. Mike, early in his years in the fire service, saw a need for quick, reliable and affordable emergency vehicle repairs and warning system installations. Mike saw what departments were spending on installations with below standard craftsmanship and knew he could do better. Mike has built the business on doing the job the right way every time. Our motto has always been “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right”.

Derek has many years of vehicle upfitting experience and has extensive knowledge in both Sound off and Whelen systems. Derek has become a certified Blueprint installer and EVT L1 certified technician. Derek started his first responder career in New Milford in 2004, and worked as an EMT/Supervisor for 13 years.
